A shared curiosity for the inherent beauty, tactility and function of clay brought New Works A STUDY together with ceramic artist Wilma Nawara. Based in Portugal, Wilma works with raw, unrefined clay, drawing inspiration from the rugged coastal landscape of Ferrel, where she collects wild clay and studies the shifting textures of sand and stone. Her experimental and holistic approach aligns seamlessly with A STUDY’s ethos—an ongoing exploration of materiality, where process and intuition take the lead. The cups are sold in a set of two, both in the same color.
